Saturday (and Sunday) at the Masters and the golfers arrived all layered up. Loved seeing even when it’s cold, their outfits still coordinate. Here are some of these dapper golfers all cozy up.
Louis Oosthuizen Bryson DeChambeau Jon Rahm
Jordan Spieth
Tiger Woods
As the day warms up and the layers come off, the golfers sported their favorite looks throughout the course. Many stuck to their signature stripes or allover print looks. While others sported their golf “uniform” that is their signature look. I hope you all realize these golfers are sponsored by different brands and the brands give them options to wear. So, when you see a golfer wearing similar looks every day, they come from a brands collection for that season. (I hope you noticed certain golfer’s themes in what they choose to wear). I love that they do this because you can usually spot the golfers based on what they are wearing, and we can see the brands latest collection on this green runway. For instance, Tiger works with Nike and his own brand together. They keep his look clean and classic and he always wear that red shirt on the final day. I like how he doesn’t sport a ton of brands on his collar and sleeves. Nike keeps in clean. Justin Johnson is always polished and pressed and his looks consist of solids, stripes but always monochromatic or tasteful. Phil Michelson will wear head to toe black one day of the tournament. Start thinking about your golf uniform?
That said…let’s check out what these great athletes wore the final 2 days of the tournament and see Justin in his new favorite jacket.
Abraham Ancer – loved seeing this cranberry/wine color on the greens this weekend. Tiger wore it in a polo (see above), others in hats and love Abraham’s stripe wine polo (here). If you don’t have this wine color in a shirt, jacket or accessories, it’s time to add. The safest place would be a polo. Just get ready for compliments. You’re Welcome!
Brooks Koepka and Tommy Fleetwood are sporting this cranberry/wine color and 2 great ways to wear it. Love Tommy’s bold stripe and Brooks’ all solid. If green is the main color for the masters, Cranberry takes second place. Tommy sported this stripe in tan yesterday and love this cranberry color much better!!
Cameron Smith rocked a salmon solid polo and looked great with his blond locks. This color is a great traditional southern color and think he looked great in it. Still prefer the cranberry color above.
Ian Poutler
Ian Poutler
Ian Poutler sported some fancy pants this tournament and love when I see golfers wear patterned slacks. This is what golfs all about. Having fun and wearing bold looks.
Rickie Fowler went bold on his green pants and love his allover print polo he paired with it. Loved seeing so many golfers in allover printed polos. It’s a look I’m selling a lot of in my shop. For a tournament that carries so much history, I like how golfers wore fun modern yet tasteful looks. If you have yet to wear an allover printed polo, start with something like this. A wearable easy color (like white or blue) with a simple allover print that isn’t too noticeable. Pop of color in your pants works too. Whatever you decide, make sure it brings a smile to your face and you are comfortable.
I really like Sungiae Im’s allover camo shirt. Tasteful in all shades blue yet fun!
Love Dustin Johnson’s stripe and allover print polo. Another safe way to wear an allover print. This time paired with a stripe. Adidas does a great job in most everything they make. Dustin wears this brand and everything is classic yet edgy and sporty. Like him.
Cameron Smith sported another really cool allover print polo this tournament. It’s young and fresh yet tasteful. Penguin sponsors him and love what they have made this season. Fresh and fun yet wearable for all ages. Not just the kids.
Hideki Matsuyama’s style makes me smile. I have to find out who dresses/sponsors him. Just love all the veritcle stripe polo shirts he wore this weekend. Defiantly his golf uniform (for this tournament) yet still stylish and edgy. Some golfers, you can tell what brands they wear. Hideki sports great style and design. Maybe he is sponsored. I wonder if he helps design the looks. Either way take notes from him and add a vertical stripe polo to your golf uniform. It’s a must!!
The ultimate stylish guy in the tournament was crowned Sunday too Dustin Johnson. The coveted Green Jacket was draped over him and he sports it well. Congrats to him and I’ll bet this is his favorite jacket in his closet.
