Looks for the Phoenix Open

Heading to the Phoenix Open this weekend? If you are, you are truly lucky.  With Covid, they are only allowing 5000 guests a day.  That is a lot different than the 250K usually in attendance.

Here are some looks you can sport to the event or at your next golf tee time.

Tuscaloosa Polo

Tate ¼ Zip

Fidelity Denim

Dressing in layers is key because it will be chilly in the shade and early mornings.  Love this monochromatic look because it’s still dressy yet comfortable.  You can also wear this combo to brunch, dinner or the office.

Two Minute Drill

TravisMathew Short

Golf is all about wearing color and bring bright.  Here is a tasteful way to do it if being bold isn’t your thing.  Love the red TM polo and black short.  The red really pops and it’s a great shade that compliments all skin tones.  TravisMathew does bright bold colors so well and they make a statement but yet are wearable.  Try this look.  You can even wear for your Valentine.

Beckladdium Pant | TravisMathew

Love this layered look I put together.  The monochromatic color is dressy and wearing layers will keep you comfortable throughout the day.  The Beckladdium pant is a TM staple is one of my best-selling pants.  Reason being the fabric is so light weight and comfortable.  It’s almost like you aren’t wearing anything.  The fit is trim but not tight.  Here’s a great casual look but doesn’t scream golf.

El Nindo Polo | TravisMathew

Cappuccino | Fidelity Jean

Here’s a great causal look with color yet will pair nicely with your beer.  So many people attend the event for the party and social aspect and never see a golf swing.  Here’s a great casual look that doesn’t scream golf yet has some color.  These Fidelity jeans will fit your bum so nicely, you’ll get compliments.  Can’t promise you’ll get digits but you’ll feel great in these jeans.

Sianconset ¼ Zip | Greyson Clothiers

Saranac Polo | Greyson Clothiers

Montauk Trouser | Greyson Clothiers

Love this bright spring golf look.  It’s a good mix of color, a classic polo and trim trouser.  A twist on monochromatic look with a pop of color.  This look is today’s modern golfer and I love it.  We need bright and sunny looks after the year we have had.  Turn up the color in your wardrobe and dress better than you feel.  You may actually swing the club better than you think.  When you look good, you feel good.

Omaha Polo | Greyson Clothiers

Fidelity Denim

Want to fit in but don’t want to dress like a golfer? Just wear green.  Simple.  Just a green polo and jeans will do it.  Make sure the look is tailored and clean.  Love this dark green polo from Greyson and dark wash jeans from Fidelity.  It’s a look you can wear almost everywhere.  It’s like wearing red for Valentine’s Day.  Wear green to a golf event.

Allover Print Polo | Greyson Clothiers

Pink Shorts | Greyson Clothiers

I love watching what men wear to golf events because some dress really loud and bright.  It always brings a smile to my face.  Here’s a great bold look that you will stand out in the crowd.  It’s not head to toe pink – that’s too much now.  I’d say pick one.  Bright top or bright bottoms.  Not both. Sure, people will have sunglasses on but that’s for the sun and not your bright outfit.  Love this allover print shirt because it’s fashionable and fun.  Paired with these pink shorts screams golf.  Enjoy the compliments and smiles you will bring to people’s faces.  After all, the Open is a party and time to dress to impress.

Whatever you decide to wear this weekend or at your next tee time, wear what you like and feel comfortable in. Enjoy the event til next year and hope well can all attend.

Get all these looks in my Phoenix Shop or online store.  I’m still adding looks to my online store and if you don’t see them, they will be there soon.

*****Don’t forget this Sunday, February 7th, I’m moving to 32nd Street and Camelback.  I’ll be closed for a couple days til I get unpacked.  Please come by and see the new space.
