GIFT IDEAS FOR THE EIGHT NIGHTS OF HANUKKAH

11/28/2021

Hanukkah is an eight-day Jewish celebration that reaffirms the ideals of Judaism and commemorates the recovery of Jerusalem and the rededication of the second Temple by lighting candles on the menorah on each day of the festival.  Harkening back to the second century B.C., the Festival of Lights, as it is often called, has come to be widely celebrated and remains one of the most popular Jewish religious observances.  In 2021, Hanukkah begins on the eve of November 28 and continues for eight days until December 6.

Today people tend to place great importance on giving Hanukkah gifts on each of the eight nights.  For the men in your life, Q. Contrary has some great gift ideas that won’t break the bank.  We offer the best in men’s accessories to complete your special guy’s look, whether he’s your boyfriend, husband, father, brother or son.

Socks:  We carry ankle socks from Travis Mathew in a variety of colors and patterns as well as dress socks from Falke and Travis Mathew.

Belts:  What guy doesn’t need a good basic black or brown belt?  We also carry more casual belts made from canvas and stretch woven fabrics.  Don’t forget that when you’re buying your guy a belt, you usually go up a pant waist size so the tail hangs off and can be looped through the belt loop.

Ties:  At Q. Contrary, we care a wide variety of 100% silk ties in solids and patterns to spice up a gentleman’s wardrobes.  All are made in Italy and are the perfect Hanukkah gift.

Hats:  If your guy’s a golfer, we’ve got a wide assortment of hats for the links.  They come in a number of solids and patterns as well as color block options.

Wallets:  Though wallets are generally a very personal accessory item, you can’t go wrong with giving one of our “slim” wallets to someone special at Hanukkah.  Most men don’t want their wallet to be bulging out of their back pocket, and our 11 variations of the perfect slim wallet will be just what he wants.  Even better, they hold a lot of cards and receipts without the big bump of a traditional men’s wallet.

Bracelets:  You say, bracelets, do guys really wear them?  Yes, they do, especially the cool, hip guys, so consider this item as the perfect small gift, especially since many men today don’t wear a watch since they can check the time on their phones.

I’m Mary from Q. Contrary wishing you a very Happy Hanukkah.  Hope you enjoy this beautiful Jewish tradition with family and friends, and check out my shop in Phoenix a 3168 East Camelback Road or visit my online store.
