This Sunday, June 16th, is Father’s Day and it’s so important to take time to thank all Fathers for their hard work, sacrifice, love and attention they show us every day. If you haven’t already thought of a few gifts for your dad, it’s probably about time you do. Luckily, I am here to help you out. Here are a ton of ideas you can get your dad this Father’s Day.
Many dads enjoy sharing their favorite sport with their family. You can treat your dad to a round of golf at his favorite course or hit balls together at Topgolf. If he needs to improve his swing, treat him to private lessons, however, I wouldn’t say that in his card. Dads can always use new golf clothes so think about treating him some new Travis Mathew gear. It’s something he can sport all year round. If golf isn’t his thing, think about a magazine subscription to like Espn or Sports Illustrated. I love the idea of a magazine because it’s a gift he will get every month. You can also get tickets to his favorite team. Make sure to get enough for the whole family or just the two of you.
You will find many families BBQing this Father’s Day. It’s a tradition in my family. A great gift idea is new grilling tools or a bunch of steaks from Omaha Steaks. I got my dad this one year and he (and my mom) loved it! If your father could use some assistance behind the grill, treat him to grilling classes. It’s something the two of you can do together.
This time of year, you can’t always get wine delivered because it’s so warm. A lot of my clients are enjoying sipping tequilas and mezcals. It’s light and refreshing these summer months. If your father is into scotches and whiskeys, introduce him to these tequilas and mezcals to offer something new to his palate. These brands to a lot of tastings around the valley so follow them on social media.
Picking out something for dad’s wardrobe can be difficult even for the most GQ father. A great option is designing him something from you. Custom make a suit, shirt or jacket. He will think of you every time he wears it. It’s a great option for a man who never has something to wear or complains things don’t fit right. He will feel great and be comfy in the shirt or jacket you personally designed for him. Another option is a watch, tie or accessory he can wear every day. You can even gift yourself a matching one so both think of each other when you wear it.
The smart speaker trend is only set to continue, and if your dad’s a tech-head and hasn’t yet jumped on the bandwagon, then it’s time for him to do so. Perhaps your dad is a little more into tweaking his home theater. If that’s true, then he can’t do much better than the Logitech Harmony Elite universal remote. Keeping nice and fit is always a good idea, and if your dad is a fitness junkie then he might like a better way to keep track of his overall weight and body fat. That’s what Weight Gurus’ scale is here to do both help people track their weight, and calculate their body fat. Does your dad often lose his keys, wallet, and phone? Tile is here to save the day. Tile’s devices can attach to your keys and insert into your wallet, after which you’ll be able to track them on your phone. Plus, if you lose your phone, you can press a button on tile to make your phone ring, even if it’s on silent. It’s a pretty ingenious system and could save a lot of time looking for lost items.
However you decide to tell your dad how much you love and appreciate him this Father’s Day, just make sure you do. Happy Father’s Day to all the Fathers, Grandfathers, Step Fathers, God Fathers, Fathers to be and Acting Fathers. Their role is so important in the family and to their children that every day should be Father’s Day!!
